課程概述 |
We will focus on understanding the oceanic lithosphere in terms of its formation, evolution, physical and chemical properties. In particular, we will stress seismological and geophysical investigations, highlighting those by OBS data analysis. We will read and discuss excerpts from textbooks, classic literature and recent journal articles of related topics, in addition to lectures. |

課程目標 |
Our goal is to create a collegial environment for students to engage in learning a specific topic in geoscience, not only passively listening to lectures throughout the course, but also actively participating in reading and discussing as a study group, thus more effectively achieving a deeper understanding of the topic. |

Required regular course activities include literature reading, memo writing, and presentation. |
